Equally important is our commitment to social sustainability in our business practices towards our employees, business partners and clients.As one of the top-ranked consulting engineering firms in the nation, providing surveying, engineering, construction management and environmental services, we have an opportunity fora Survey Technician to join our Survey Team in our Riverside office.Your Role:As a Survey Technician, you will utilize your expertise tosupport the field surveying, mapping, and document deliverables for private and public agency client project submittals.Responsibilities:Coordinating projects which include a broad range of assignments requiring knowledge of surveying/mappingUsing StarNet and Trimble Business Center (TBC) databases to process field dataSupporting team by completing technical mapping and final drawings for agency submittals and specifications for approvalResearch analysis and familiarity with any of the following: title reports, ROW/E, ALTA's, Legal Description and Plats, topography, photogrammetry, boundaries, and mapping. Laser scanning and extraction experience a plusPerforming survey calculations, analysis, and field support calculationsManaging multiple tasks and assisting with resource requirementsAssisting the Project Manager to define project tasks and schedulesRequired Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in surveyingPublic mapping experience (subdivision maps, parcel maps, record of survey maps, legal description and exhibits, etc.)Experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D, and/or MicroStation/InRoads andExcelExperience in StarNet and/or Trimble Business Center (TBC)Experience in a draftingKnowledge of public agency codes, processes and requirementsPreferred:LSITBS Degree in Surveying/Geomatics or related disciplineKnowledge in Trimble RealWorks for point cloud registration to process static scanning Knowledge in Leica Cyclone for point cloud extraction Why PsomasOur culture is built on the foundation of social sustainability practices.
