Responsibilities
The SharePoint Developer will function at the the level of a Managing Consultants and own client engagements from cultivation to completion. In this SharePoint Developer role, you will be accountable for the activities of the project team and support the day-to-day management of the client relationship. You are expected to effectively develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets for multiple complex projects simultaneously. SharePoint Developer work products are expected to be high-quality and client-ready. In this visible role, you will lead team meetings, and guide, manage, and coach consultants and senior consultants, providing constructive feedback on project participation and overall career development. The SharePoint Developer will work closely with Directors and Managing Directors to keep them abreast of project progress and important developments. Managing Consultants support sales initiatives and practice development.

SharePoint Developer responsibilities include:

Buidling scalable and secure applications, either as standalone interfaces or those that require access to servers.
Testing software and ensuring that code runs properly is a key part of the SharePoint developer's day-to-day duties.
Write and modify code to build applications and sites for clients based on their needs and requirements. Will also provide ongoing support, working with clients to fix any issues as they arise.
Using source debuggers and visual development environments for client applications to ensure that everything works as it should.
Work with clients to resolve any technical issues clients may have and create enhancements that will better serve client needs.

Qualifications
Must currently reside or be in the process of moving to one of the listed office locations in the posting.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field.
5+ years work experience with SharePoint Designer, SharePoint code development to include developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, Business Intelligence or enterprise content management.
Demonstrated understanding of Visual Studio, C# Programing, Desktop Development, Web Development, Windows Service Development, MS Test, Object Oriented Development (OOD).
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Technical documentation skills.
Good written and oral communication skills with ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Self-motivated with demonstrated attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimum supervision.
Ability to travel.
Must possess current work authorization in the United States without sponsorship from Guidehouse currently or in the future at time of application.
