Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and proactively support field sustaining activities on vehicle operations for the markets, understand the full life cycle process of the vehicles from factory assembly, to field use and to end of life (decommissioning). You will be the technical point of contact for all vehicles issues across Spin markets Gather requirements from markets, customers, and vehicles on the field to design and build tools, fixtures, and processes that improve the efficiency of repair operations, lower the cost of deployment, and improve the serviceability of the Spin fleet Participate in product design and reliability reviews during new product development and influence the product design and manufacturing processes to improve quality, serviceability, reduce cost, and improve durability Drive failure analysis to root cause and corrective actions, to include influencing future product requirements Audit process conformance and provide technical assistance/support and training to market repair centers Create and report quality metrics that give visibility to failure rates, defect rates and cost of quality among other measures Constantly improve service quality and failure data reporting across all markets. Improve configuration control and management for products in sustaining. Support and improve the transition process from new product introduction to sustaining.
