Position Dimensions / Roles Reporting to Position / Decision Making Authority:Position dimensions:Facilitate all bottling activities at Mumm NapaQuality control of packaging materials and finished productsData tracking and inventory control of packaging materials and finished productsRoles reporting to position:n/aKey stakeholders(internal / external):Mumm Napa Packaging TeamMumm Napa Winemaking TeamPRW USA Supply Chain TeamDecision making authority:n/aKey ResponsibilitiesSet up and operation of MN production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating proceduresResponsible for safely operating all winery equipment, adherence to PPE policies, identification of risks and hazards, and recommendations for improvements to reduce and/or eliminate any unsafe conditionsMaintains mechanical bottling equipment including change-overs, troubleshooting, and light repairsTransfers and tracks packaging materials and finished goods as required in the bottling departmentDelivers BOM supplies to the bottling lines as directed by Work Order instructionsResponsible for the inventory control of packaging materials, operating supplies, and finished goodsAssists with the data entry and reporting of bottling related movements/transactions into bottling databases and PRW USA's ERP system as requiredResponsible for the quality control and traceability of Mumm Napa packaging and finished goods inventoriesMonitor, measure, and track data related to the performance of bottling equipment (i.e downtime, quality failures, etc.)Trouble shoots all quality and inventory related issues; completes problem solving and investigations as assignedProvides back up support for warehousing and mix-riddle operationsMoves products and supplies throughout the warehouse by use of forkliftSupports Mumm Napa harvest activities including fruit receival, operation of grape presses, and/or cellar related tasksMay coordinate and or deliver goods/documentation between departmentsResponsible for all sustainability matters in assigned work area, completes regularly scheduled inspections/audits, and notifies supervisor of any required attentionMonitor, measure, and track environmental data related to bottling operations, identification of any non-compliance issues and/or opportunities for improvement related to use of natural resources and influences to waste streamsOther duties as assignedLeadership Competencies:Competency:Strategic VisionEntrepreneurshipEngagingResults OrientationEngagingLives the ValuesEngagingPeople DevelopmentTeam ManagementFunctional Competencies:Competency:Level 1 - 4Risk Management1Performance Optimisation1Operations Planning OptimisationN/AProduction Process Management1Logistics OptimizationN/AProcurementN/APhysical Asset Management1Creativity and Innovation1Business and Financial AcumenN/ACustomer service and quality orientation1Project change ManagementN/ACommunication and relationship building1Skills / Qualifications / Experience:Essential: Desirable:Minimum 2 years winery production environment experience requiredPrevious wine bottling experience preferredAbility to prioritize, manage workflow, and meet deadlinesBilingual verbal and written proficiency (Spanish/English)Experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipmentProficiency in ERP software systems, and Microsoft OfficeAccuracy and attention to detail a mustBasic statistical process controlAble to maintain composure in a fast-paced environmentInterpersonal communication skillsAbility to repeatedly lift 40-50 lb. packagesContinuous improvement toolbox (5S, SMED)Forklift certificationBasic mechanical skillsProblem Solving toolsKnowledge of good manufacturing practicesSpecial Conditions:Flexible working hours and ability to work overtime as requiredWorking conditions in certain areas of the winery are cold, wet, slippery and noisy.
