Your CareerAs a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with our cloud services development teams on the deployments of our on-prem and cloud software/hardware infrastructure. You are well versed in building and supporting scalable infrastructure in a hybrid environment and are excited about helping teams strive toward efficiency. If you are a self-starter who is comfortable in collaborating in agile environments and jump on the opportunities to make the platform more stable, secure and feature-rich, this is your new career.Your ImpactWrite automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at scaleIdentify and drive opportunities to improve automation for code deployment, management, and visibility of application servicesDevelop tools and framework to automate operational tasks, deployment of machines, services, applicationsEstablish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical components of the applicationParticipate in the on-call rotationWork with development teams to integrate deployments with configuration management frameworksYour ExperienceVery strong experience with Linux as an administrator and operatorAbility to drive, build and operate shared core infrastructure servicesStrong background in configuration management with frameworks such as Terraform, Salt, or AnsibleProficiency with the following programming languages Golang, Python and shell scripting to automate tasksFamiliarity with CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, Jenkins, ArtifactoryProficient at supporting container platforms and container orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesPassion for automation and monitoring instrumentation in the codeBS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceExcellent problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, able to collaborate and rally supportSelf-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveThe TeamTo stay ahead of the curve, it's critical to know where the curve is, and how to anticipate the changes we're facing.
