Job description Who we areThe Policy Operations team is charged with ensuring a quality and safe user experience with ads, protecting the company from legal and reputational riskand removing roadblocks for genuine advertisers to transact freely on the platform. We do this by implementing scalable and effective policy enforcement solutions. As part of this work, Policy Operations helps to ensure that Twitter serves ads in appropriate environments for brands.Who you areYou are an experienced problem solver,adept at crisis management, a collaborative teammateand perhaps most importantly, you must be able to thrive in a constantly evolving environment where no two days are the same!What you'll doAs a Brand Safety Program Manager on Policy Operations, you will be responsible for improving and growing brand safety operations across Twitter's range of revenue products. You will work hand-in-hand with Trust & Safety, Product, Curation, and content moderation teams to develop Twitter's efforts across a wide range of operations in the Brand Safety space, including developing new processes and workflows to support Twitter's growth and proactively identifying and addressing gaps.Drive Policy Operations' Brand Safety operations globally, including overseeing several content moderation workflowsDesign strategy and solutions to scale the enforcement of Twitter's monetization policies across revenue productsBuild relationships with Operations, Curation, Sales, Content Partnerships, and Policy teams globally, identifying and investigating areas of risk, and driving efforts to tackle themBecome a product expert, providing proactive recommendations for how to reduce risk through both human-based and automated meansTriage urgent escalations from senior leaders and the press, going deep into the weeds to troubleshoot root cause and impactInfluence Product and Engineering on internal tools and logic to improve Twitter's brand safety operationsServe as a policy expert for internal customers, including Sales, Content Partnerships, and content moderation teamsAnalyze data and translate it into actionable insights and business opportunitiesCommunicate fearlessly! Qualifications 3-4+ years experience in operations, policy, risk or complianceExceptional leadership skills and ability to influence at senior levelsAbility to work productively in a fast moving, cross-functional, and often ambiguous environmentExtremely detail-oriented with an ability and affinity for understanding the nuances of Twitter's Health work company-wide, while being able to synthesize this work into digestible narrativesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to executive and industry audiences both within and outside TwitterFocused, self-motivated, and proactive in building relationships and pursuing opportunitiesHighly analytical and capable of using data to make decisions Additional information We're on a journey to be the world's most diverse and inclusive company it's key to serving the public conversation.
