VMware NSX is looking for Software quality engineers who are passionate about changing the future networking with NSX and VMware Cloud.The ideal candidate has a wide variety of software experience in the areas of testing distributed systems, networking, automation, virtualization software, and cloud.Responsibilities:As a Member of Technical Staff, you will participate and contribute in followingAnalyze product requirements and functional specifications of new NSX features to develop a high-quality test strategy.Understand how feature fits in the overall solution, proactively identify any gaps, and own end to end quality of the feature.Develop and design effective test automation and contribute to CI/CD.Be self-motivated and proactively manage time and tasks.Interact with other development teams, SRE, Product management, Release Engineering to execute on product goals.Requirements:Willingness to learn and strong technical curiosity.2+ years of experience in software engineering preferred2+ Years of experience with network Virtualization or Cloud technologies.Knowledge of core networking, L4-L7 protocols, Loadbalancer, Firewalls, and Linux.Strong automation and programming skills in python, and Golang.Previous experience working on AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud platforms.Nice to have open source contribution, experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture.Masters degree in computer science or relevant subjectsCategory : Engineering and TechnologySubcategory: Software EngineeringExperience: Manager and ProfessionalFull Time/ Part Time: Full TimeRemote: NoPosted Date: 2020-08-25VMware Company Overview: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
