Our specialties include industrial and commercial commodities, but we really shine when it comes to high temperature, high corrosion and high pressure applications.The Position: Industrial SalesThis is a customer service sales position. Because we are expanding and need to fill several positions, we are considering a range of candidates. Industry veterans are encouraged to apply for either inside sales or outside sales.We are also considering entry level candidates with exceptional communication skills. We are willing to train. This could be an excellent career opportunity for the right individual. Ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping priorities in order.An Inside Sales reps daily activities include:- Interacting with customers and vendors via telephone, FAX, e-mail and occasionally face to face, to ensure that the customer's requirements are met.- Enter customer's orders, stock orders, purchase orders, change orders and invoicing credits into our business software system. -Work closely with warehouse and manufactures to insure proper execution and delivery.- Assists with customer problem resolution.- Coordinates with other internal departments tracking and expediting open orders, researching price discrepancies, generating Return Goods Authorizations and order tracking.- Purchasing materials to fulfill customer requirementsOutside Sales daily activities include:-Building relationships-Prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments and following up leads-Adjusts and focuses content of sales presentations by studying the type of customers/prospects.-Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.-Acts as liaison between customers and vendors with joint sales callsDepending on experience a sales rep can expect to earn between 40k and 100k per yr.
