POSITION PURPOSE The Field Operations Manager provides direction and guidance to a team of Project Managers in all aspects of HDDC Kitchen and Bath projects to achieve performance targets and to create a best-in-class customer experience. The FOM will ensure they are driving towards and achieving staffing targets as well as properly onboarding, creating associate engagement, and continually training /coaching their team. The FOM will manage Project Managers through every aspect of the employment life cycle including hiring, training /coaching, performance management, etc. The FOM will lead their team to achieve project performance targets and will be responsible for understanding, analyzing and prioritizing business metrics (e.g.,scorecards, KPI, etc). The FOM is responsible for the customer experience and ensuring the Project Managers deliver world class customer service; this is accomplished proactively by consistently monitoring reports to ensure customer's projects are moving through the job process efficiently as well as being accountable to Customer feedback. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 80% People -Responsible for the recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance appraisal, professional development, and disciplinary actions of project managers with significant influence on the hiring and firing -Oversees strategy and execution of the project process, quality standards and continuous ensuring team is using all tools and processes correctly to delivery the best customer experience -Continually train their team on HDDC's sales and project process and new /updated products and offerings -Drive assigned team to achieve targets - Understand, analyze and prioritize business metrics and monitor progress toward the achievement of all business metrics -Conducts weekly stand-up team meetings to discuss current projects -Monitors project manager teams projects to ensure they're staying within scope and timelines -Reports on project success criteria results, metrics, test, etc. to Assistant Director of Field Operations -Encourages team members to continuously develop their personal and professional skills in their area of PM expertise -Serves in a mentoring capacity for project managers to enhance leadership skills and for project managers to reach their full potential -Provides onsite leadership for projects, as needed -Ensure team cohesion amongst their team and the design team so that the customers' needs are always met -Inspires his or her team to have a high level of engagement and performance 20% Customer Service -Responsible for setting the standard for and acts as a role model for providing excellent customer service -Sets overall quality control and customer resolution standards -Assist project managers with difficult project changes by making adjustments accordingly to ensure projects stay on track, as needed -Proactively identifies and resolves issues that may impair the team's ability to meet customer needs -Maintains client relationships by resolving client issues, as needed -Trains and monitors new project managers in all aspects of customer service NATURE AND SCOPE -Reports to the Assistant Director of Operations -This position has 3-7 direct reports ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Environment: Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights. Travel: Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Additional Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in related field of study -3+ years managing a team -5+ years of experience in Project Management or Trade experience -Certification as a project management professional (PMP) or construction management highly preferred -Expert project management skills including planning and organizational skills -Ability to work in a fast paced environment -Ability to stay within a budget, analyzing and drawing conclusions, decisiveness, dispute /conflict resolution, process compliance and customer driven -Ability to work independently -Ability to read blueprints -Knowledge of space planning, color theory, textile and building materials, design terminology and government regulations -Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:-Develops Talent -Decision Quality -Plans & Aligns -Ensures Accountability -Manages Conflict -Drives Engagement -Collaborates -Customer Focus -Drives Results -Communicates Effectively -Drives Vision & Purpose
