Besides being of high quality, innovative and advanced, our products are also safe and resilient.Yokogawa is currently searching for a Western Regional Field Application Sales Specialist, working from their home office.JOB SUMMARYProvides leadership in creating and implementing strategies to build name recognition, increases contacts and generates orders through Regional Test & Measurement (T & M) Manufacturer's Representatives, consistent with sectional and divisional goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Achieves short and long-term goals for sales, customer and market development. Achieves profitability goals by maintaining divisional pricing strategies and operating department within assigned budget. Provides effective information to product marketing and design engineers to facilitate creation of new products, upgrade existing products in support of Yokogawa Corporation of America (YCA) and Yokogawa World Headquarters (YHQ) goals. Assists in overall section planning, direction and control as a section staff member. Supports all corporate goals and policies.DUTIES/SKILLSEstablish strategic plans to build name recognition, increase contacts and generate orders through Regional T & M Manufacturer's Representatives, compatible with section and divisional goals.Provide Section Manager with monthly forecasts and quarterly business plans.Provide effective information to product marketing and design engineers to create new products and upgrade existing products.Provides comprehensive counsel and partnership as a T member to achieve YCA and YHQ goals and objectives.Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth technical and product application knowledge.Maintains healthy and motivational relationship with rep sales force.Supports Section Manager to assure achievement of section, department, division and corporate goals.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite contact management software.Performs other duties as assigned.METRICSPerformance to plan through orders and profit for assigned products and geography.Implementation of relevant elements of the annual business plans for product, indirect and direct sales channels.SPECIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering from four-year college or university.Experience:3+ years selling Test and Measurement products in a direct or indirect position.Travel:50% (30% overnight)Western territories (CA, OR, WA)We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States, however, we are not able to sponsor visas.Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Yokogawa.#LI-KL1
