Responsible for the scheduling, booking and overall management of sound stages at an independent film studio.
Initiate and maintained strong working relationships with hundreds of clients & vendors.
Negotiate contracts with Studio Executives, Producers, Unit Production Managers and lawyers of major motion picture studios (Warner Bros., HBO, Universal, New Line Cinemas, Fox and more)
Oversee daily operations of the studio facility and the various productions working on the property.
Coordinate company marketing, advertising and communications.
Accountable for annual stage operations budget of over 1 million dollars. Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of a Motion Picture and Television Studio Facility, a 10 acre entertainment campus consisting of 300,000+ sq. ft of Class A and Class B office buildings, seven sound stages, mixing stages, a mill, two parking structures, and a commissary.
Preparation & execution of leases and license agreements, including all terms & preparing new leases & renewals documents.
Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent job experience
Minimum of 6 years' experience in the industry or related field, with at least 3 years in a management role
Professional experience in a high volume, high production operations environment
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Experience managing a team/function
Previous experience working in a high-volume studio, or production house in an operational management capacity
Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Strong negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal personal and external customers
