The Director of Agency Partnerships is responsible for developing an agency engagement vision, working with leadership to strategically redefine the model of creativity with our partners, and building a scaled program for collaboration between our global agency network. The Director of Agency Partnerships will oversee a team that executes on the agency engagement vision and ensures both adoption and process excellence. This includes building relationships with teams to understand business requirements, supplier footprint, needs and gaps, as well as keeping a pulse on the industry regarding agency news, offerings and trends and upholding our criteria related to diversity & inclusion and sustainability best practices. This person is also responsible for the vision and implementation of any shared resources, tools and processes required to bring this system to life.
  • Define a vision and engagement strategy for our agency relationships across the family of apps, including CMO involvement
  • Partner with Creative X and executive leadership on agency model direction and decisions
  • Partner with Consumer Marketing, Business Affairs, Finance, and other partners on a shared outsourcing and operational vision
  • Lead our Production Center of Excellence, a team of production strategists responsible for tracking, analyzing and reporting on agency performance and production output
  • Lead and consult on RFP process for any new agencies working on any of our Facebook brands
  • Provide Consumer Marketing teams with outsourcing support for high priority programs and initiatives, in addition to continuously evolving to meet Consumer Marketing resourcing needs and strategic objectives
  • Partner with internal Creative, Production and Program Management teams to assess the quality of work, performance and value of marketing suppliers
  • Lead research and implementation of tools to improve efficiency and scale
  • Manage relationships with marketing suppliers, including onboarding, training, reviews and re-evaluation for annual contracts
  • Provide Creative X with outsourcing resources, guidance and best practices
  • Build internal communications programs to drive adoption of processes and infrastructure
  • 15+ years of relevant or related working experience in account services and/or client management
  • 5+ years experience in a Global Account Director, Group Account Director or Executive Account Director role
  • Experience overseeing global accounts, brands, and/or teams at an advertising agency
  • Experience managing budgets and external suppliers/agencies
  • Experience managing and reporting agency staffing, burn reports, client contracts and new business development
  • Experience fostering cross-functional working relationships in a medium to large scale global organization
  • Understanding of marketing business and staffing models
  • Experience in new business development
  • Experience in Social Marketing
  • Experience in agency operations
  • Experience in brand strategy or brand planning
