Corporate Finance Managing Director
The Corporate Finance Managing Director role will be responsible for providing expertise in structuring, arranging and distributing syndicated loans and other capital market debt facilities, as well as ongoing administrative agent operations.
Successful incumbents are customer focused, have strong decision quality, drive for results, are good listeners and creative thinkers, take command of the situation, build strong peer relationships and manage with courage.
Identifies and executes Corporate Finance business development efforts for Comericas capital markets by working with business relationship managers to call on current and prospective clients.
Develops the optimal financing structure tailored to the clients capital needs, taking into account both internal and external market appetite and conditions.
Manages all phases of the process, including due diligence up through documentation to assure timely closing. The debt provided is used by the client to support a broad range of requirements including capital expenditures and corporate expansion, acquisitions, recapitalizations and management buyouts.
Oversees the daily activity of various syndicated loans agented by Comerica. Works with the loan group and customers on amendments, waivers, consents and secondary trades.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
10 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services industry
3 years of experience in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance, including knowledge of the loan syndication process and knowledge of various private placement debt and equity products
3 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and Power Point
