Job DetailsLevelExperiencedJob LocationLos Angeles, CA - Los Angeles, CAPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelMasters DegreeTravel PercentageUp to 50% Job CategorySalesDescriptionThe Business Unit Sales Manager will be in charge to adapt and perform the Barcel USA strategy in the assigned territory and ensure the sustainable long term growth, providing leadership and direction to his/her team in order to achieve performance objectives, accomplished through effective coaching, mentoring of the team, utilization of resources and strong collaboration with Independent Business Partners to ensure alignment Barcel's long term vision, mission and GB Founder's Mentality.What Will I Be Doing• Define long term commercial strategies, and sales budget, to reach company objectives.Promote Barcel mission and vision within the sales team and partner distributors.Results Oriented: Continuing to set, communicate, and raise expectations of team and individual performance; motivating and supporting efforts to achieve goals while upholding organizational values and standards.• Commercial Knowledge: Understanding market dynamics, business drivers that define long term commercial strategies and have an impact on their region and strategies to reach company objectives.• Coaching for Performance: Leveraging the Regional Coaching Model through planning and leading the development of skills and abilities to drive performance for each team associates.• Communication: Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.• Decision Making: Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; using an effective approach to choose a course of action or develop appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.• Detect and capture growth opportunities to expand the business, be aware of possible restructure and change of Distributors• Building Strategic Work Relationships: Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.• Personal Driven: Drive high standards for individual's, team, and organizational accomplishment; tenaciously work to meet or exceed challenging goals; derive satisfaction from goal achievement and continuous improvement.• Innovation: Generate innovative solutions for work situations; execute different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities• Achieve annual sales goals• Coach Divisional Sales Manager in all aspects of job performance and ensure training and development of STCs in their region• Establish individual, regional goals and strategies• Establish and maintain effective Regional communications• Responsible for all aspects of performance management within the region• Participate in development and implementation of national sales strategy and tactics• Work on project teams when needed• Plan and execute Regional Sales Meetings.Decide the most productive use of resources, investment and tools the company provide to the Business Unit. Develop the market assigned and plan long term to secure exponential growthQualificationsWhat Is Expected Of MeMBA or equivalent work experience5 - 10 years in sales experience, consumer goods and understand DSD operations, proven successful track record of consistent high performance.Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, Knowledge in Management, Finance and Distribution modelsOrganizational awareness, strong leadership and coaching skillsAbility to influence without authority in other environmentEnglish and Spanish desirableBe able to travel up to 50%Long term visionDecision making and LeadershipMust be a self-starter with the ability to successfully work and achieve goals.Be proactive and self-motivator and motivate othersExcellent sales and Negotiation skillsAbility to multi task several projectsAbility to solve inter departmental issues to ensure results.
